Legendary photographer Philip Townsend is holding an exhibition of his Archive of Sixties’ photographs at a pop-up gallery in the Newburgh Quarter, just off Carnaby Street, from 13th June to 5th July, 11am till 7pm daily.

The exhibition of limited edition silver gelatin prints celebrates the publication of Townsend’s first book, ‘Sorry You Missed The Sixties:
A Collection of Limited Edition Photographs from The Philip Townsend Archive 1960-1970′ and features shots from the Rolling Stones’ first ever photo session, as well as images of the Beatles, Twiggy, Charlotte Rampling and many, many more. Philip will be signing copies of his new book in the gallery from 11am on the weekend of 13-14th June.
