Zoot Money

Listen to Zoot Money and the Big Roll Band perform ‘Big Time Operator’ here:

Bournemouth-based Zoot Money and the Big Roll Band moved up to London in the early Sixties when Zoot became one of the many talented artists who were initially discovered and encouraged by the late, great Alexis Korner. Zoot and the Big Roll Band - which included guitarist Andy Summers, later to find wider fame as a member of The Police - performed regularly at Wardour Street’s Flamingo Club and scored a hit single with ‘Big Time Operator’. Money went on to enjoy a lengthy career as a musician, actor, songwriter, producer and musical director and continues to play live with the latest incarnation of the Big Roll Band, as well as with the British Blues Quintet.
